All of this just a few kilometers from Ravenna, a city of art recognized and safeguarded by Unesco and unique the world over due to its byzantine mosaics, from Mirabilandia, an amusement park for young and old, and a stone’s throw from the lively nightlife of Marina di Ravenna and the rest of the Riviera Romagnola.
The equipped beach, the pinewood and the whole town nestled in greenery are all ideal places where the children can play freely and safely. Besides the sea, there are a myriad of other leisure and entertainment options for adults: concerts, musical entertainment and performances, activities, races, games, tournaments, guided tours in the Po Delta Park.
Initially Marina Romea was a seaside resort, however, in recent years it has seen an increase in permanent residents (almost 1500). During winter many holiday home owners spend their weekends in the town together with friends, in order to enjoy a well-deserved rest and spend a few days having a good time surrounded by nature and go for healthy walks in the lagoon or along the beach.
Various events relating to the leitmotiv “the sea during winter” are organized, all of which end at the table with some good wine and food options.
With the first warm spring days Marina Romea welcomes its first tourists and gradually reaches the height of its vitality at the end of the school year in late June and in the months of July and August.
If September and October are mild, one may still find vacationers lingering in the houses in the Lido and groups of tourists, particularly foreigners, come from afar to partake of a restful vacation.
